Grithm / Save TikTok videos as notes

Save TikTok videos as notes

That recipe, that study tip, that book someone recommended: share the TikTok to Grithm and it becomes a note you can actually find again, with a link back to the creator.

Coming soon to iPhone. We’ll only email you about the launch.

How it works

  1. In TikTok, tap Share (the arrow on the right of the video).
  2. Pick Grithm. If you don’t see it, tap More and add it.
  3. Grithm transcribes what was said and writes the note. Carry on scrolling.

What you get

A title, a short summary, the main points as bullets and a link back to the TikTok and its creator. Grithm listens to the video and writes the note from what was said, not just from the caption.

Every TikTok is transcribed from its audio, so a note can take a short while. You don’t have to wait in the app: it lands in your library when it’s done.

Why not just use Favourites?

Favourites and collections keep the video, not the point of it. Finding one tip means scrolling back through hundreds of videos and rewatching them. A Grithm note is searchable text, so you search for “pasta” or “interview” and the note is there.

If the tip is on screen, not spoken

Some TikToks put the key information in on-screen text rather than saying it. Take a screenshot and make a photo note: Grithm reads the text in your screenshots and turns it into a note too.

Questions

Does the creator get credit?

Yes. Every note keeps a link back to the original TikTok, so you can always find the creator again.

Can I add my own notes?

Yes. Your own notes sit in a separate, clearly marked part, and the AI never overwrites them.

Does it work with TikTok photo posts?

Grithm works best with videos where the information is spoken. For photo slideshows, screenshot the slides and make a photo note.
